Silverstone
This saw the team return to the Buckingham circuit less than two weeks after attending a track day where new settings were trialled and tested. The team arrived confident that a good result could be achieved. The first sessions reflected the good work put into the testing prior to this meeting. The second qualifying saw the rest of the field making up for the lack of testing and no improvement gained by Graham resulting in a qualifying position of 33rd.
He struggled with the bike being twitchy through the flip flop sections of the circuit and also the slower parts. Minor changes were made for the race.
Following a very good start, Graham had made it up to 25th position when entering the hairpin at the back of the circuit. This also involved avoiding the couple of fallen riders at the third corner with this incident bringing out the safety car immediately. On lap five of the race, the safety car pulled in allowing the race to resume. Two laps into the resumed race, entering the flip flop section of the circuit, Graham had to sit the bike up which resulted in him taking a wayward route across the grass at approximately 100mph to join the grand prix part of the circuit (losing him approximately 35 seconds as he rejoined). He chose to continue the race in case of another pace car situation which would allow him to catch up with all of the riders who had got away. Sadly, this did not happen and he continued to ride around and finish in 35th position.
